What is the objective?

normally face up. Players may opt to sit out for up to two
hands.
There are usually between one and seven players plus the
dealer. The player to the left of the dealer is at First
Base. The player on the third right hand seat to the dealer
is Third Base. Players have a printed betting square in
front of them. The dealer has the deck (the Shoe) on his
left. Usually to the left of the Shoe is the Minimum Bet
Sign. The Money Slot is to the right of the dealer. This is
where chips are deposited. The Discard Tray is next to the
Money Slot. Players may place bets by entering chips into
the Deposit Box before cards are dealt.
